The Phoenix House Inn

We loved everything about our stay here! Tara was amazing host and the breakfast she prepared was out of this world. The studio was such a treat spotless and spacious. Great location for exploring PEI. I would go back in a heart beat and highly recommend it to anyone!

Tara is so wonderful! She was an excellent host, cook, and friendly person to speak with! She went out of her way to answer our questions, squeezed us in last minute, and did everything in such a positive manner! Her home is beautiful, including the property it sits on. I would recommend staying at The Phoenix House Inn to anyone coming to PEI! You will have a fantastic time.

What a delightful stay we had at this beautiful B&B. We especially enjoyed getting to know Tara. It is apparent that Tara strives to make everyone’s experience a memorable one. We appreciated her efforts in squeezing us in at the last minute. We stayed in the Mia Room which was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The en-suite has a real spa like feel to it. Tara prepared us a delicious breakfast and it was a nice experience to share with the other guests. We would definitely recommend The Phoenix House and look forward to a return visit.

Tara is such a gracious hostess and her home is gorgeous! Everything was sparkling clean. Her breakfasts were delicious. She went out of her way to accommodate us in every way. We stayed in “The Studio” for four nights - it was so convenient to have our own little kitchen! We highly recommend The Phoenix House.

Tara shared with us that her business had only been up & running since June; the high standard of accommodation & beautifully prepared breakfasts that we enjoyed in our 2 day stay certainly belie this fact. As to the breakfast component of our stay, the granola, fruit & yoghurt starters were so delicious we wanted more. Home made Quiche one day & marvellous crepes on another, a pity we couldn’t experience one more breakfast but another time I guess. We stayed in the studio which includes a kitchen, so for those looking to stay longer & prepare their own evening meals this would be a perfect choice. The bed was certainly the most comfortable I have slept in ‘on the road’ & the ability to open every window in the room negated the use of any air conditioning. I would highly recommend The Phoenix & were I a dog owner I can’t think of a better place to stay. Thank you Tara, hope to see you again. Chris & Susan. 2 night stay. August 2019.

My wife and I stayed in the Maggie Room with our small dog and it was perfect. Well decorated and clean, with enough space for us all. We had such an awesome time we extended our stay! Tara is a wonderful host and has a beautiful place! Her breakfasts were so yummy and she was accommodating with dietary restrictions and used local ingredients! We were centrally located to see a lot of PEI and Tara had great recommendations. She was communicative and friendly and we would absolutely recommend this place to everyone!

· Tara was an absolute dream host. We felt so comfortable and happy with our room and the whole house. The new renovations to this home are beautiful and tastefully done. My husband and I could not have been happier with our experience at the Phoenix house inn. Breakfast was absolutely delicious both days, not to mention, very creative. I would definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking to spend some time in the beautiful province of Prince Edward Island!

Can't say enough about my stay at The Phoenix House Inn! My sister and I were visiting PEI for the very first time to celebrate a friend's wedding. We were lucky to have stumbled across Phoenix House on Airbnb and heard from Tara almost immediately after booking. From our first communication, she seemed to genuinely care about making our experience on the island the best it could be. She also asked right away about any dietary restrictions and made so many thoughtful substitutions for my sister (a vegetarian) throughout our stay. The daily breakfast was AMAZING! Fresh fruits and vegetables, locally sourced meats and cheeses, and delicious homemade baked goods. Tara is a fantastic cook and even makes her own jams that are available for sale (we took home two!). Our room was bright and clean, with fresh towels every day and a lovely view from our window. So many thoughtful touches throughout the inn that have us itching to plan our next trip up! Thank you again, Tara!
